The Watery Part of The World

Fishguard Arts Society members have been invited to take part in  an Art Exhibition to complement the ‘ Ar Ymyl y Tir /On Land’s Edge’ Celebrating the filming of Moby Dick in Fishguard and Goodwick 70 years ago.

The theme in taken from the opening chapter of the book ‘The Watery Part of the World’.

The exhibition will take place at Baker’s@70 from Monday September 21st to Saturday October 3rd. The gallery  is located at 70, West Street in Fishguard and will be open each day from 11am to 4pm.

Fishguard Arts Society is working closely with Theatr Gwaun and has been involved inthe planning of the visual element of the festival.  Baker@70 is a relatively new art space which in what is becoming a vibrant arts based area of Fishguard to find it look out for Lloyd the Graffiti’s new Moby Dick mural and carry on further, past the Rowan Tree Gallery to Baker’s@70.

The images here represent work produced by our members in previous exhibitions. They have promised a wide selection of Watery world images for this new exhibition.
