Art Afoot Lantern Parade

Art Afoot / Celf ar Droed lantern parade celebrate the beginning of the new sculpture trails linking Fishguard and Goodwick, commissioned by Pembrokeshire County Council through UK Government funding. The parade dovetails with On Land’s Edge Festival’s opening night on Friday 20th September. Join us on The Parrog, Goodwick from 6.30pm.
Fishguard’s mayor Cllr Billy Shaw and the Mayor’s Consort Cllr Janet Wyer, will be in attendance. Goodwick Brass Band will performance an outdoor concert. There will be several beautiful giant lanterns made by pupils of Ysgol Bro Gwaun, a smack of jelly fish and pyramid lanterns to lead spectators from The Parrog into Fishguard Town Square.
